A world-class voice heard somewhere in the world everyday of the year! Whether it's throughout the day as a primary voice on the NBC Television Network, on Sirius XM Satellite Radio, as imaging voice for radio and TV facilities nationwide, on radio and television commercials or as announcer for John Gambling and imaging voice throughout the day on WOR in New York, you're familiar with Bill Rock's voice.

In addition to being a familiar voice, Bill Rock is an award winning TV/video producer. Bill Rock Productions Inc. was established in 1980. He is the recipient of numerous Telly awards for both television programs and non-broadcast video presentations. He has also received Pinnacle awards for production excellence as well as the Communicator, MacEachern and Mercury Awards plus a silver medal from the International Television and Film Festival. Bill Rock has also received awards from the Fairfield and New Haven County Ad Clubs in Connecticut as well as the New Jersey Ad Club for radio commercial production. He is listed in Who's Who in Entertainment, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World and is a charter listing in Who's Who in Media and Communications.

Other programs that featured Bill Rock as host included the nationally syndicated program Motor City Beat for Dick Clark's United Stations radio network plus nationally syndicated programs for Westwood one, Unistar Radio, Promedia, SJS, SFX and Winstar Radio Networks.

Bill Rock Productions was established in 1980. Beginning as a producer of radio commercials, it wasn't long before Bill Rock Productions was producing sound tracks for multi-image presentations. This led to Bill Rock producing complete multi-image productions and eventually video presentations. It was in 1984 that Bill Rock produced his first award winning television program, "Jeff Keith's Run Across America". That program was followed by "Airshow", a TV program about sport aviation for ESPN. Bill not only produced but also co-hosted the program with seven-time world aerobatic champion Leo Loudenslager. The program featured actor Cliff Robertson, Astronaut Wally Schirra, and the Navy Aerobatic demonstration team the "Blue Angels". This was followed by the program "Big City Country" featuring Tanya Tucker, Eddie Rabbit, Suzy Boggus, Mark Collie and other country recording artists. In 2003 Bill Rock Productions produced "Double Crossing the English Channel" for Public Broadcasting. It was a documentary about the oldest man (age 44) to swim from England to France and back non stop. In 2008 Bill Rock Productions produced a one hour program called "The 20th Anniversary of the Swim Across the Sound", a chronological account of the 20 year history of the annual swim across Long Island Sound.

Bill Rock Productions has produced radio and television commercials and programs as well as non-broadcast video presentations for Fortune 500 companies such as United Technologies, government agencies like State of Connecticut DEP, politicians, including Senator Joseph Leiberman and human service organizations like The United Way.

In 1996 Bill Rock was chosen to be the "voice of NBC news." He was the voice of the promotional announcements for NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, Weekend Nightly with Brian Williams and Meet the Press with Tim Russert. He was the exclusive announcer for Weekend Magazine with Stone Phillips on MSNBC. His voice has been on promotional announcements for Dateline, Today plus numerous promos for CNBC and MSNBC. Today he can be heard on the NBC television network throughout the day as the commercial billboard announcer for programs like, The Biggest Loser, Law and Order, School Pride, Days of our lives, Tonight All night, Fallon All Night, The Event, 30 Rock, Parenthood, America's Got Talent and Saturday Night Live, just to name a few.

Bill's radio career spans four decades including on air as a personality in many major markets and program director in Albany, Boston, New Haven and New York. He was vice president of programming for Insilco Broadcasting in Oklahoma, New Orleans, Hartford and Miami. He began his New York radio career at WWDJ in 1970, was production manager, acting program director and air personality for WNBC radio, later on WCBS-FM and is currently heard daily as an on air personality on Sirius XM Satellite Radio Saturday night's on Ch 13 on Sirius, Elvis Radio and Channel 18 on XM. Perhaps he is best known for his 16-year stay at WYNY-FM where in his last eight years there he hosted one of the highest rated shows in New York on the Saturday Night Country Club.

Bill Rock is a graduate of Seton Hall University with a BA in Communications. He was inducted into the Seton Hall / WSOU Hall of Fame in 1998.
